The best way to ensure your government protects children and  is working for you is to get involved.  Join all the local government and governmental associated organizations you can.  Town Hall, School Board of Local government, get involved.  Remember that the government is your representatives and hold them to that fact.  Pay attention to the transparency of election process at all levels of government and question anything you think appears irregular.  Our Country, Our Children is currently building a STEP BY STEP Guide as to how to get involved with your government.
